DAY 1

June 25,2007

We arrived here in Dallas at around 11:30pm last night, safe and sound. We had almost no problems with the exception of the heel falling off the new denim sandals I got to wear for this convention... {sigh} Fortunately I had a pair of flip flops in my carry on, so I switched to them and kept on going.

Today we unpacked, registered for the convention and did some shopping. They had a little trouble finding the two boxes I had shipped to the hotel as they logged them in as Linda Beard instead of Linda Leake-Beard. They were found after a few minutes and all my things had made it here in one piece.

We went to the Grapevine Mall on the Hotel Trolley. Our Friends from Italy, Ale and Giu from Artist Creations were on the Trolley, too.
