This is a one-of-a-kind creation from First Of May's 1999 Christmas Collection. The final doll in this year's Christmas Collection is dressed in the style of the early 1900's. Her face and nails have had a repaint, she has been given rooted eyelashes and her hair has been pulled up and curled in sausage curls. She is wearing a two piece outfit including a sheath dress of cranberry taffeta. The sleeveless dress is accented in cranberry print bias trim and has a black lace collar and jabot with ribbon and button accent. Her lined coat of cranberry velvet is also accented with the cranberry print bias trim and buttons. She wears black silky panties, gold and cranberry bead earrings and ring, and carries a purse of velvet with black lace and a decorative rose. On her feet are a pair of two tone boots, that match her outfit. On her head she wears a large brim hat of the time period. I call the hat an "everything but the kitchen sink hat", as it has many adornments on it. There is a rose, some holly, a poinsettia, golden eucalyptus, some mauve and gold berries as well as some ribbon and some of the cranberry print bias trim. She is truly a one of a kind beauty!
Sandy Pyle of Riverside, California holds this beauty in her collection.
