Marina

Marina is the fifth edition in the birth stone series, and represents the month of March with the aquamarine stone.

Marina is a mermaid style sea creature. She features full facial and nail repaint and has been given rooted eyelashes. The tail portion of her costume of silver velour, has been covered in silver and iridescent sequins. In addition the tail fins have been accented with aquamarine Swarovski rhinestones. The bra section of her costume has been fashioned from shells and more rhinestones and sequins. Nestled in her blonde hair is a crown of shells and rhinestones.

Her jewelry is made of shells, Czech crystals, rhinestones and silver/crystal seed beads. She holds a single shell in her repositioned hand. To make this lovely doll easier to display, a sea side vanity was constructed especially for her. It features a "seat" of various sea shells and a vanity mirror edged in silver iridescent sequins and shells.

She swims about in the underwater collection of Janis Chambers in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
