Midnight Emerald

Wearing a gown of jacquard taffeta in black and green, this doll is ready to dazzle. Her long sleeved, fitted bodice was fashioned from hunter green velvet. Her full skirt of jacquard taffeta is accented with bands of gold ribbon and edged with a ruffled flounce. More ruffles accent her shoulders in a wing type fashion. Her curled hair was pulled up and accented with a matching hair wrap with a gold bow. Golden bead jewelry, velvet purse, and decorated pumps complete her outfit.

This doll was created for, and is the highlight of, the collection of the artist's niece Janna Frances Blowers in St. Charles IL.
