Pearlle is a "gloobee". "Gloobees" are a line of dolls this artist has been doing primarily as gifts and for fun. Many of the dolls in this line are rescue dolls with small defects that do not effect the look of the doll when it is displayed.
Pearlle was a rescue doll who now has a beautiful facial repaint. Her nails (fingers and toes) have also been manicured. Her outfit is not removable and was fashioned using some exquisite lace that was removed from a $1400.00 bridal gown when it was altered. The bodice has an asymmetric design while the skirt features lace leaves over tulle, all of which are accented with pearls and some iridescent sequins. Her hair has been pulled up into a side pony-tail and she wears lace hair accents and a lace head-wrap. Lace armbands and spats accent her arms and legs. Pearl jewelry is just the right finishing touch for her ensemble. Her limbs were reposition to allow her to hold a large pearl nugget which is wrapped in gilded wire.
