Serena Mermaid

Serena features a total facial make-over featuring pale blue eyes and rooted lashes. The basis of her costume is blue velveteen. Her tail portion was covered in sequins of blue and crystal and accented with emerald Swarovski rhinestones. Her bra top is constructed from shells sequins and more of the emerald rhinestones. Her hair has been curled and pulled up into her shell encrusted tiara and her hands were repositioned to allow her to hold a single sea shell. A customized stand was created for this design using a mirror and a myriad of shells in a gold filigree base.

This design was a commissioned piece made for Anna Gertz in West Simsbury, Connecticut.
