Uptown Promenade and her little "Poor Pupper Dog", Rexxie
were made as a swap. It subsequently won Second Place in the 2000
domestic phase of the BMAA (Barbie-Bazaar Make-over Artist Awards)
contest.
This lovely young lady has had her red hair curled in a high fashion style and has also had a complete facial make-over including blue eyes, plum lips and nails and real rooted eyelashes. Her two piece outfit consists of her street length strapeless sheath with bodice of woven ribbon and skirt of royal blue satin and her Duster style coat of tone on tone royal blue woven print. The sleeves and shirt-tail hem on the duster have been accented in beading that matches the ribbon colors on the dresses bodice and satin collar and cuffs have been added for dimension. Little Rexxie the painted poodle wears a gold quilted lame doggie coat and has a blue suede collar studded with rhinestones. He is "stuck" to his owner by way of a golden chain leash with a suede hand grip. Uptown completes her ensemble with royal blue silky panties, blue and gold beaded jewelry, gold pumps and a woven ribbon functional clutch purse. Look out for this Uptown girl.. She's on the move! This beauty and her doggie resides in Tucson, Arizona with Ms. Dorothy Fannin. |
