Custom Doll by First Of May

Alice

Created for an on-line doll contest, Alice was fashioned after the girl of the same name from the book/movie “Alice in Wonderland”. Alice was given a blue cotton dress with a white pinafore style apron. She also wears white cotton pantaloons, white tights and black “Mary Jane” pumps. Her hair was straightened and tied with a black satin ribbon. Her face was repainted to reflect the cartoon character features she possesses. Alice was a multiple winner in the contest including: First place for best presentation, second place for best face painting and second place for best character representation.

Alice remains in the artist's personal collection.
