Old West Can-Can Dancer

A blonde curly haired doll has been transformed into the beautiful can-can dancer who entertained and soothed the spirits of all the gold miners seeking their fortunes. Barbie has had a facial make-over and has been dressed in a custom gown designed for dancing. Her gown is made of red matte satin and is lined in black satin. The skirt is totally underlined in multicolored tulle ruffles edged in black. Some of the ruffles have been used to outline the neck edge of the bodice and form shoulder straps. The dress is accented with little green bows and faux buttons down the back. She wears the customary fishnet stockings and black panties, so as not to be too risque while flipping her skirt. She even has a tiny black garter with a red bow! A red rhinestone ring, gold hoop earrings with bead accents, satin choker, mesh "armlets", and jeweled hair ornament with a black feather plume are the finishing touches on this gorgeous doll.

Can-Can is part of the collection of Carla Chapman residing in Little Rock, Arkansas.
