This was a private swap between myself and Sharon Lawson. I had seen "May Flowers" for sale on her web site. I fell in love with her. Since my birthday and my business are both "First Of May" it really seemed like it was meant to be my doll! So our basic swap theme became Spring. Sharon had seen my doll "Goddess of the Snow" and told me she would like a doll like her. I fashioned Empress of Spring after her using a pink spring floral print over pink satin. Her dress is very full and accented with silk blooms that have been given beaded centers. A fabric head wrap with real rose and ribbon accent and a rose topped wand with which to rule the spring complete her look.

"May Flowers" wears a yellow gingham gown trimmed with lace motifs and pearls. Her red hair has been re-styled and she wears a ribbon trimmed picture hat and carries a nosegay of flowers. Between the two of these girls I think they have spring quite under control. Thanks for swapping with me Sharon!
