Fourth of July Swap 1999

In a swap arranged by customdolls@onelist.com I received the wonderful dolls on the right from Sandy Pyle.

This couple is ready for the Fourth Of July picnic. Sandy dressed them in their patriotic outfits and they are waving their flags as the parade passes by. In his duffle are their baseball clothes, gear, and a supply of sports drink for refreshment during the game. Sandy was from Arizona at the time of the swap and so the duffle bag has an Arizona logo! She has a great picnic lunch in her basket including chips, coke and even fried chicken! This was my very first swap. I love them! You did a great job, Thanks, Sandy!

The doll on the left is "Dandee" (as in Yankee Doodle Dandy). She is the doll I sent to Sandy in this swap. She arrived wearing the Uncle Sam outfit. She had been entertaining the crowd in the July Fourth parade. The gown, purse and shoes were sent with Dandee as a separate outfit. She needed to have a special outfit for later in the evening to wear to the July Fourth Benefit Ball.
